Do you know for sure that if you died today you would go to heaven?  If you said yes, that is wonderful. That means you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You have repented of your sins and accepted Jesus into your heart. You believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross to set you free from your sin.

If you said no, don't panic just read this:

All people have turned away from God and broken the law of God. This is sin. In the bible it says "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23

Our God is a just God and He must punish sin. He loves us and hopes that none should perish. That is why "For God so loved the world He sent His only begotten Son into this world, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life". John 3:16

What you do is admit to God that you are a sinner and that you want to be set free from sin. "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins." I John 1:8,9

Then accept the free gift of eternal life by believing that Jesus paid the price in full when He died and shed His blood for you. "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord".  Romans 6:23

This can be done by simply saying a prayer that goes something like this: "Dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner and want to be set free. Please forgive me for my sins and make me whole. I believe that Jesus is your Son and that He died on the cross to save me from my sins and eternal damnation. I accept the free gift of eternal life and want to live my life for you. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Now if you just said this prayer and meant it in your heart, you are now saved. You now have eternal life. That is awesome! You are free from your sins. So now you ask what now.   Here's what you do now that you are saved.
